Information we collect
What you send us. When you submit an inquiry form or write to us, we collect the details you enter: your name, business email address, company name, phone or WhatsApp number, and the requirements or message you send, including part numbers, drawings or specifications you attach or describe.
What is recorded automatically. Like most web servers, ours logs technical data when a page is requested: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. We use it to keep the site running, diagnose faults and see which pages are useful.
Cookies. The site sets only the cookies needed for it and its forms to work, plus one cookie that remembers your language choice if you use the translation menu. We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work, although some conveniences may not.
How we use it
- to answer your inquiry, prepare quotations and arrange samples;
- to discuss drawings, engineering changes and orders with you;
- to perform contracts and meet legal, tax and export obligations;
- to keep the site and its forms secure and to prevent abuse;
- to improve our products, pages and response times.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not pass it to advertising networks.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent when you submit an inquiry (Article 6(1)(a)); our legitimate interest in running a business-to-business website and responding to commercial requests (Article 6(1)(f)); and the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with parties that help us run the site and answer you: our cloud hosting provider, our email provider and our IT support. We may also disclose information where the law, a regulation or a lawful request from a competent authority requires it, or where it is needed to protect our rights.
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When a page that uses them is displayed, your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address and technical request data. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Translation. The language menu is provided by GTranslate and uses Google Translate. When you pick a language, the text of the page is sent to Google to be translated and Google may set cookies in your browser. We do not receive or store the translated text; your choice is remembered by a cookie in your browser.
International transfers
Our website is hosted by a cloud provider and some service providers may process technical data outside your country. Where the law requires it, we put appropriate safeguards in place before such a transfer, for example standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, and afterwards only for as long as the law requires (for example, tax, accounting and export records). Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting and are then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you access to your personal information, correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it; you may object to processing, ask for a copy in a portable format, or withdraw consent at any time. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and protection against form abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk low and to limit what we keep.
Children
This site is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
